Paul McCartney did not intend for his sold-out performance at MetLife Stadium to morph into a milestone birthday bash.
But when 60,000 fans, most of whom have employed McCartney’s unparalleled songbook as the soundtrack to their lives, desired to wish Sir Paul a very happy birthday — he turns 80 on Saturday — they would not be silenced.
