Jake Paul, Hasim Rahman Jr. agree to Aug. 6 fight at MSG

Jake Paul has found his next opponent for August 6 at Madison Square Garden: Hasim Rahman Jr. The son of former heavyweight champion Hasim Rahman — who knocked out Lennox Lewis to claim the WBC, IBF and IBO belts in 2001 — Hasim Rahman Jr. is 12-1 as a professional boxer.

Rahman Jr. is coming off the first loss of his career, a TKO defeat to James McKenzie Morrison in April.

Paul, a social media star with more than 20 million followers on YouTube alone, is 5-0 in his short boxing career. He most recently earned his second consecutive victory over former UFC champion Tyron Woodley last December. His other wins were against former UFC star Ben Askren, NBA Slam Dunk champion Nate Robinson and YouTuber AnEsonGib.

Paul was slated to fight Tommy Fury, the half-brother of heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, before his opponent was denied entry to the United States from the UK.
