Machine Gun Kelly’s Life in Pink follows the musician through several stages of his life, and it explores his personal relationships with his 12-year-old daughter Casie and fiancĂ©e Megan Fox.

The music documentary is a Hulu original so it is available to watch on the streaming platform, and it has already been released.

Directed by Sam Cahill, the film sees Machine Gun Kelly (whose real name is Colson Baker) speak honestly about his personal struggles, including his difficult relationship with his father, his battle with depression, and the terrifying moment someone pulled a gun on him when he was driving with his daughter.

At one point in the documentary Machine Gun Kelly discussed the moment he attempted to take his own life while on the phone with Fox.

Per Entertainment Tonight, the rapper explained in the film how in July 2020 he was in a “really, really dark” place after his father passed away.

“I wouldn’t leave my [hotel] room. I started getting really, really, really dark,” Machine Gun Kelly said. “Megan went to Bulgaria to shoot a movie and I started getting this really wild paranoia. Like, I kept getting paranoid that someone was gonna come and kill me.

“I called Megan. I was like, ‘You aren’t here for me.’ I’m in my room and I’m, like, freaking out on her.”

The “Emo Girl” singer was also struggling with depression and substance abuse at the time, and he said that he was “yelling on the phone” to Fox before he attempted to take his own life.

He later said that the near-death experience led him to realize that he needed to “kick the drugs” so that he could be there for both Fox and his daughter.

Machine Gun Kelly went on to explain that Fox “became the sun” for him following the incident, and she became his muse: “It’s just like every fairy tale that they never told you in school…the passion between us is just otherworldly.”

Machine Gun Kelly’s Life in Pink is out on Hulu Now.
