It’s a big day for pop culture icon Harrison Ford, as the beloved actor has just turned 80 years old. Given that he is still active and just recently wrapped work on Indiana Jones 5, Ford is forever young as he proves that age is just a number. Over the course of his career, Ford has picked up fans from all over the world, and many are banding together to celebrate his work and send well wishes in honor of his 80th birthday.

And another fan eloquently puts it, “I can’t believe tbh that Harrison Ford is 80 today. I don’t think I can adequately convey how much time I spent thinking about Harrison Ford in the 1980s, or how formative he was to my idea of what raw sex appeal is. They don’t make movie stars like this anymore, I don’t think.”
Harrison Ford Will Soon Be Back on the Big Screen
Harrison Ford has appeared in dozens of films, and the Star Wars and Indiana Jones franchises are certainly among his most popular roles. The last feature film he appeared in was 2020’s The Call of the Wild. Based on the 1902 novel of the same name by Jack London, the film followed Ford as an outdoorsman who befriends a dog named Buck during the 1890s Klondike Gold Rush. He will soon be seen on the small screen as well after recently getting cast in a main role in the upcoming Apple TV+ series Shrinking with Jason Segel and Jessica Williams.
Ford is also set to return to the big screen next summer for the release of Indiana Jones 5. Directed by James Mangold, the sequel brings back Ford as the titular adventurer, joined by Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Mads Mikkelsen, Thomas Kretschmann, and Antonio Banderas. That film is scheduled for a release in movie theaters on June 30, 2023, following several production and release date delays. The movie has completed filming.
