Ghislaine Maxwell Was ‘Kind,’ Offered to Teach Yoga in Jail, Inmate Says

Ghislaine Maxwell was a “genuine and kind” person who volunteered to teach English and yoga in jail, a fellow inmate wrote in a letter to the judge who’s about to sentence the British socialite for engaging in a sex-trafficking scheme with former boyfriend Jeffrey Epstein.

The brief, hand-written letter by Tatiana Venegas was submitted to US Circuit Judge Alison Nathan on Sunday by Maxwell’s lawyer, Bobbi Sternheim. Venegas was an inmate who met Maxwell at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center, according to the lawyer. Nathan is set to sentence Maxwell on Tuesday.
