Aaron Rodgers says rookie WR Samori Toure has “got a lot of stuff to him”

Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers is starting to get to know his rookie WRs. He shared some thoughts about what he thinks about them so far, including former Nebraska WR Samori Toure according to Matt Reynoldson of WFRV CBS Local 5 in Green Bay.

The Green Bay Packers drafted Toure in the 7th round of the 2022 NFL Draft. He led the Cornhuskers in receiving yards (898) and receiving touchdowns (5). The 10-time Pro Bowler shared his thoughts on the Packers rookie wideouts and what he thinks of them so far.

Here’s what he had to say:

“They definitely look the part,” said Rodgers. “All three of the guys we drafted obviously have the physical gifts. Obviously Watson and Doubs are bigger, but Toure’s got a lot of stuff to him. There’s no better teacher for them on what NFL ball is gonna be like than going against our three corners. Those guys are gonna get a real quick initiation to the NFL.”
