A jet linked to Roman Abramovich has reportedly landed in Moscow after stopping briefly in Istanbul, according to flight data.

The sanctioned Chelsea football club owner’s Gulfstream business plane touched down in the Russian capital early on Tuesday morning, Flightradar24 data shows.

He was reportedly spotted at Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion airport, in Israel, on Monday before his plane flew to Turkey in a photograph obtained by Reuters.

Mr Abramovich was hit with an asset freeze and travel ban by the UK last Thursday because of his alleged close ties to Russian President Vladimir Putin, which he disputes.
