Raptors still searching for answers on how to defend Sixers star Joel Embiid

The Toronto Raptors are normally a team that will give Philadelphia 76ers star Joel Embiid some trouble.

They send waves of defenders at him and they get under his skin with their physical play and force him into turnovers.

However, they have not been able to rattle Embiid this time around. The big fella has been able to handle everything pretty well and he has been able to respond to whatever the Raptors throw at him.

They tried getting physical with him in Game 2, but that didn’t work as he had 19 points in the first quarter and he finished with 31 points and 11 rebounds in the win.

“I thought we did a pretty good job, but at a certain point, we are going to have to stop arguing with the refs and find another solution because they are not budging,”

“I liked our intensity and our physicality and we showed more bodies and we seemed to be on the right spots on some of the doubles and things like that.

The Raptors did make a few adjustments, other than just getting physical with him, and that was helpful for them in a way.
