Pep Guardiola has revealed he has told his Manchester City players to take what might be a 'once-in-a-lifetime' chance to knock Real Madrid out of the Champions League.

City currently sit one point above Liverpool in the Premier League table, but the pair turn their attention to the Champions League this week amid their ongoing

Guardiola’s side host Real Madrid at the Etihad tonight, while in the other semi-final, Liverpoo l host Villarreal at Anfield tomorrow night.

And ahead of the game, Guardiola said: “We have to be so precise against them.

Before the Catalan added on his side reaching the final four: “That’s why big clubs stay there for a long time. When you win, take a shower and go again.

“We are learning that. I felt that in Barcelona as a young boy and we are trying to build that culture where we have to win every game and fight to win every game.”
