Celebrities and supporters pay tribute to Tom Parker

Ed Sheeran has led the music industry in sending “thoughts and love” to Tom Parker’s family, following the death of The Wanted singer at the age of 33.

Sheeran wrote on Instagram: “So sad to hear of Tom’s passing. Thoughts and love are with Kelsey, his children and his family. Very sad day, what a lovely guy.”

Actor and musician Martin Kemp, who has been treated for a brain tumour himself, tweeted: “Tom Parker, rest in peace my love goes out to all your family and all your friends

The actress and singer Kym Marsh tweeted: “So so sad to hear the news of Tom Parker’s passing.

Howard Donald, of Take That sent his condolences to Kelsey and their two children.

Brain Tumour Research supporters have also been sharing their shock and sadness at Tom’s death. Khuram Liaquat, who welcomed Tom into his home to visit his daughter Amani before she died 

“Tom Parker from The Wanted visited us for his cancer docu. He recorded a podcast with Amani where they shared their journey as brain cancer sufferers.
